We're on the " Discerning bride" website!

Now, I must say talking in to a camera is a lot harder that it looks ! Sounds funny but not talking directly to someone who answers back is a little awkward. I am not that comfortable talking about my business either.. I don't know why.. perhaps because I am not much of a "go get them" sales person. Talking in to a camera is not even like "Tweeting" on twitter, that is easy!  On Twitter I pretty much think nobody really is looking other than my girlfriend over at Oleander in T.O. or my brother so I can babble about what I am doing with ease.
Discerning Bride is a new and growing website showcasing local companies hand chosen in the wedding industry. The website features videos of vendors so you can "meet them" before actually making an appointment. However I think I may have liked it a bit better if someone was interviewing me.. that might have made me more comfortable. What can I say, I am a Canadian girl through and through.. I am not much into talking about myself :)  You'll also have to excuse the uhhmmmm's since I don't talk about my business much I had a hard time coming up with things to say. I guess since I work with flowers all day long I don't really think that would be interesting to other people !

Now you may be interested to know many bridal websites often charge a fee for being reviewed.. you can be charged up to $2,000.00 to be featured or recommended on a website. I am not a big fan of this because mediocre companies can pay the fee and receive a "glowing" review when the really are not a company that "glows" at all.
The Discerning Bride staff have worked with many vendors over the years and they have chosen companies found to be of high standard ( makin me blush). You will be happy to know Discerning Bride does not charge a fee to be "reviewed or featured".
 I could not buy a great review on Discerning Bride even if I tried ! LOL.
